A breath of fresh air: That is what our little family needed. Yep…fresh air…and…sunshine…yes….lots of it…and…room to run and play.
This past month has been a bit chaotic as we welcomed our latest addition, sweet little Mackenzie, into the world. Around-the-clock giving of bottles, diaper changes, cuddles and rocking as well as close to no sleep has meant we’ve all felt a bit cooped up inside while adjusting to our new family dynamic.
As you can imagine, our adventurous 2 and a half year old, Abigail, has been needing a way to burn off some energy. And, mommy and daddy needed to get out of the house too. So, when my friend Julie asked if we’d like to join her at Southern Belle Farm this past weekend we jumped (quite literally) at the opportunity.
Abigail LOVES animals so we couldn’t wait to go so she could visit some farm friends. She also couldn’t WAIT to see the pumpkins and talked about the “pumpkin patch” the entire hour-long drive there.
I enjoyed sitting under the shade of a beautiful tree holding Mackenzie and watching Abigail run, play and smile.
Abigail enjoyed EVERYTHING.
Daddy enjoyed wearing Abigail out. :)
Here are some photos from our adventures. It was a beautiful day filled with blue skies and warm, mild temperatures. Enjoy!
Cheers to fall fun and a breath of fresh air!
